The way it was found.
The way it appears now in Glacier Blue.
The first step on a bike this original, is to document everything possible on teardown. Check the wire runs, clamp location and bolt types. You want to make sure you can get it all back together right.
Check out the friction tape holding the wiring to the frame.
Here's a good shot of the clamp that holds the throttle cable and the friction tape that holds the generator wires.
Get a good picture of the ignition switch, the wiring should be just as neat and tidy when you put it back together.

Three quarter view Sparkeling Blue 1969.
Head on of the front fender.
Right side tank Sparkeling Blue 1/4 inch white stripe, 1/4 inch Sparkeling Blue then semi-gloss Black. This Black is in place of wrinkle finish, the color is the same, however, if wax or a stain appears on it, it can be wiped off. This is a Urethane semi-gloss. Wrinkle finish can not be cleaned.
This is the Termination under the seat, notice the sactory spot weld for reference.
This is the termination point at the steering head end, notice the stripe starts in the center of the emblem.
